THE CLIENT
The client is a rapidly growing European independent asset manager with a diverse portfolio of investments across Europe, including private and public infrastructure debt. Their investments include renewable energy, transportation, waste management, telecommunications, and more. They are now seeking to establish an investment team in the United States, with a focus on infrastructure debt and middle-market investments.
THE ROLE
As an Investment Associate, you’ll be a key player in a lean deal team, taking full responsibility for sourcing, structuring, and executing new investments across investment grade and sub-investment grade infrastructure debt transactions. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing you with hands-on experience and direct exposure to high-level decision-making. This role offers significant ownership of the entire deal process, from due diligence to closing, giving you the chance to deepen your expertise. With the flat team structure, you'll have strong visibility within the organization, and the opportunity for rapid career progression.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years of Project Finance experience with a focus on infrastructure, power, renewables, TMT, or other related fields
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Experience creating pitch decks and other marketing materials
- Strong written and oral communications
- Must be in or willing to relocate to New York City
